Textile tapes are used in many places, including as hand straps in public transport. A number of regulations and standards (flame retardancy) must be taken into account. Thanks to our extensive experience, we are able to customise these tapes to your specific needs.

Here are just two examples of possible standards that we have successfully implemented:

Fire protection in railway vehicles according to EN 45545-2

The standard is divided into three sub-standards:

  1. Oxygen index (parameter is the LOI value in %) according to EN ISO 4589-2
  2. Smoke index (parameter is Ds (max)) according to EN ISO 5659-2
  3. Toxicity (parameter is CIT (NLP)) according to test method NFX 70-100

Fire protection for building materials DIN 4102-1 / B1 and EN 13773

The standard DIN 4102, Part 1 defines the flammability test for classification as building material class B1 “flame-retardant”.
